About Your Practitioner
I currently live in Aberdeen, Scotland. Prior to this home was Melbourne , Australia , where I was born. I spent over 20 years working with adults with learning difficulties, both in the UK and in Australia , before setting up PORGENTA. I am a Chartered Safety Practitioner, and particularly welcome enquiries from small businesses. I am also an SVQ Assessor in Health and Social Care, working on a contract basis, at Aberdeen College.
My interest in complementary therapies and in metaphysics generally, began at an early age. I questioned everything, but rarely got the answers I was seeking. I was usually told to be quiet, but as anyone who knows me, this was impossible! This led to me to search out, and to attend many courses, until I knew I had found the right ones for me. I now work with the amazing energy of Shamballa. I am a Usui and Angelic Reiki Master, but have chosen to work solely with the Shamballa healing system. I am also able to allow these energies to come in when I am doing an Indian Head Massage on a client. Another energy therapy I work with, which complements Shamballa, is Spiritual Response Therapy. Because of the amazing impact that these energy systems have had on me personally, I now teach all three levels of Shamballa.
I am an accredited Shamballa 13D Master Teacher, and am also a member of the British Complementary Therapist Association (BCMA).
